1. Drupalizing.com, home of some of the best FREE themes for Drupal, gets a brand new look, gets responsive and has some new stuff! →

The “Drupalizing project”, hosted at drupalizing.com is how More than Themes started, a couple of years back. It was all about porting famous Wordpress or PSD themes to Drupal, making them available completely FREE, for everyone in the community to use. The first theme that we ported was BlueMasters, which became an instant hit among Drupalers. A little later is when we decided to embark on creating well … more than just themes, but complete and integrated Drupal distributions that are easy to set up and are powered by a Premium theme of ours, which is what http://www.morethanthemes.com is about.

Fast forward a few years and for quite some time we have been entering the era of responsive websites. Everyone’s talking about this and for good reason. Mobile devices are now everywhere and should be taken into account when designing and developing a website. So, we could not but do something about this. And boy have we done.

A few weeks ago we released the latest version of our Premium PressBlog distribution for Drupal - a hit among university websites and news portals. It’s responsive and on top of that it comes in multiple fonts, colors and with lots of other goodies (by the way, this is a FREE update to all existing PressBlog users so if you happen to be one, make sure you don’t miss your upgrade! If you are unsure how to proceed get in touch via morethanthemes.com).

Last week we released another responsive Drupal theme, this time a FREE one; Skeleton, which is based on the Skeleton boilerplate - go check it out (http://www.getskeleton.com/). Get the theme via Drupal.org.

And today, we are moving a step forward; the home of our Drupalizing project, which features all our free Drupal themes gets a complete facelift and goes responsive as well. So, while we are switching our attention to our next responsive goodie in the pipeline, go check this out at www.drupalizing.com. We hope you enjoy the free themes over there and do not hesitate to drop us a line, to suggest another theme for porting, to hire us or even just to say hi. :)

Foldy960 is a responsive 960 grid. It isn’t aiming to be Yet-Another-CSS-Framework and the creator hesitates to use the term “Boilerplate”. Foldy960 is just a little kit and some extra classes to get you going on making your 960.gs design responsive.

  3. Responsive CSS3 slider without Javascript →

CSS3 Responsive Slider is, as the name implies, a responsive CSS3 slider without Javascript.

  4. 25 jQuery Plugins to help with Responsive Layouts →

The most popular topic of discussion at the moment is undoubtedly responsive layouts in web design. Without going discussing too much what you will already know, a responsive layout allows you to offer a specific and optimised screen size based on whatever device (mobile, tablet…) the visitor uses.

  5. Golden Grid System - A folding grid for responsive design →

Golden Grid System (GGS) splits the screen into 18 even columns. The leftmost and rightmost columns are used as the outer margins of the grid, which leaves 16 columns for use in design.

  6. Gridless - An awesome HTML5 & CSS3 boilerplate for mobile first responsive, cross-browser websites →
