What my customers value most is the hand crafted product from 100% natural felt. The raw material is manufactured nearby in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. Every order is made on demand and tailored by local staff in house. Customers love and value their devices, often want to express that through special accessories. They like the idea of valuable materials and individual design and production.

Quite often we receive questions from users regarding how they can reproduce the demo sites of the free Drupal themes we feature at drupalizing.com.

Reproducing one of these demo sites apart from the theme files, requires some placeholder text, images and a prototype website set up on Drupal. In the majority of cases menus, blocks and various settings are also included.

In light of the above and to better service the community members that contacted us with such questions, we have decided to maintain all our demo sites at GitHub and provide all of the material described above to the community.

Therefore, starting with our responsive Corporate Clean Drupal theme we are making available all Drupal installations of the themes we feature at drupalizing.com, in our official “More than Themes” profile at GitHub.

This is my personal site, with tech, and general blog posts, as well as photo galleries from various places and events here in Asia.

Anthony explains that he didn’t just use Photofolio but customized it a bit:

I ‘adjusted’ the theme quite a bit. I have two separate content types and matching taxonomies for blog posts, and I customised the photo galleries quite a bit, switching to ‘Fancybox’ for viewing images, as well as changing the thumbnail display for each gallery.

Bram De Smet, creator and owner of Menteb.org explained:

Junketeers must share their stories and experiences. Sharing travel stories can only increase the hunger for a new trip in fellow backpackers. Long have I gazed at websites describing cool destinations. Long have I searched for information on where to go when. It was time that I began sharing, too.

Having experience with it, Bram chose to use Drupal for his site

As an avid Drupal user, many a theme were on trial, but only one got convicted to serve time on my server. Photofolio offered me a theme with class, allowing me to create the sweet little cozy corner I call my website.

Using the latest edition of Photofolio, which is responsive, Bram created a responsive website where his photos and descriptions can be enjoyed on mobile devices.

Closing, Bram summarised:

The Pickering Public Library of Canada uses Drupal, brings in More than Themes to create mobile-friendly website based on PressBlog

The Pickering Public Library already had a website built on Drupal, which they wanted tailored to their needs both in terms of functionality as well as esthetics. This is how they got in touch with us at More than Themes via our contact page providing a brief description of their needs.

A few emails later, with questions and answers back and forth so that we make sure we completely figure out their needs, we had a precise project plan and proposal in place and were ready to start work. Our PressBlog theme,which has been designed with academic/portal websites in mind seemed like a great starting point. Using a pre-made theme instead of designing and coding something completely from scratch, was also a tremendously cost-effective option for them as well.

As is typical with all our projects, we created a private workspace for both teams - theirs and ours - in Mavenlink, the online collaboration platform we use at More than Themes and soon after we started working on this.

Using Mavenlink is great in that it provides complete transparency over how a project progresses against milestones, to all team members with some role in it. Exchanging files, posting feedback on deliverables, integrating with Google docs for delivery notes are also very useful, particularly for projects like this where you’ve got quite a number of people working on different parts of the same project at the same time. And if working in such a way is useful for the reasons explained above, it’s absolutely necessary when the various people involved in a project reside in different corners of the world, with different time-zones.

Collaboration was great, feedback was always to-the-point and a few weeks later, the all new homepage of the Pickering Public Library was ready and live at picnet.org.

I can’t say enough about the professionalism and competence that you have displayed during this project. Thank you very much. I am very impressed and I don’t get impressed that easily. Well done!

Having built Picnet.org on top of our PressBlog theme means that it’s mobile friendly, so anyone can browse the website with an optimal user-experience when using a tablet or smartphone.

Drupal 8 is due out later this year, and already speculation has begun to mount over what’s going to be included in the new release.

One of the key features everybody is looking forward to is the level of mobile and device compatibility that the highly experienced team of developers are expected to provide.
